Ortografia PL – privacy policy
Effective from 30 October 2026.
Ortografia PL is a game that helps children learn Polish spelling. The app does not collect, send or share any personal data – neither children's nor adults'.
Controller
The data controller and publisher of the app is RUNCODE Adam Mickiewicz, contact: kontakt@runcode.pl.
What data is in the app
Game progress (levels, stars, coins, badges, statistics, settings) is stored only on the device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else. It may be included in a device backup (iCloud or computer), which is created and controlled by the device owner – we have no access to it.
The app does not require an account and does not ask for a name, age, email address, photos, location or access to contacts. It does not use the advertising identifier or any other device identifiers.
What the app does not do
- it shows no ads,
- it uses no analytics or tracking tools,
- it contains no third-party libraries or SDKs,
- it does not connect to our servers,
- it has no chat or any other way to contact strangers,
- it contains no links to social media.
Apple: purchases, statistics and crash reports
The full version (subscription or lifetime purchase) is handled exclusively by Apple through the App Store. We do not see payment details or Apple account data. The purchase screen is protected by a parental gate.
If the user allows it in the device settings, Apple may share anonymous crash reports and aggregate statistics (e.g. the number of downloads) with us. They do not let us identify the user. We use them only to fix bugs.
Apple processes this data under its own rules, described in Apple's privacy policy. Apart from Apple, we do not share data with anyone.
Email contact
If you email us, we receive your address and the content of your message. We use them only to reply (legal basis: our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and do not share them with anyone. We keep them until the matter is resolved and then delete them.
Email contact is meant for parents and guardians. If a child writes to us, we will reply once and delete the message.
Deleting data and your rights
You can delete game progress by deleting the app from the device (and, if needed, from its backup). We hold no copy of this data – there is nothing to delete on our side, but we also cannot recover it. The app does not ask for any consent to process data, so there is no consent to withdraw.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict its processing and to object – just write to kontakt@runcode.pl. You can also lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (UODO).
Children
The app is intended for children and collects no information from them. We build it in line with the GDPR, the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the App Store rules for kids' apps.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page and in the app, with a new date.
